The company name Kimanikoa, borrowed from Donivan's two sons Ethan Kimani and Makoa Alexander, well defines his approach to house plans. Designs are solid,  builder friendly, functional homes with aesthetic appeal.

Born and raised in Kauai, in historical Old Koloa town, Donivan possesses a deep-rooted love for the island which is portrayed in his style of drafting residential homes.  His enthusiasm for plantation-style design and Hawaiiana is the driving force behind his work.
